Rail stall keeper (woman) suspended

Nagpur: The Central Railway Commerce department, on Wednesday, suspended a woman railway stall keeper for her fault of selling the authorized commodity for more than the printed MRP (maximum retail price) to rail passengers. The commerce department is conducting departmental enquiry against her.
According to GRP, Santosh Lande of Trimurty Nagar and his workers had lodged a complaint on last Sunday, July 5 with Dy station manager, C Rly Nagpur that the Ness Cafe Stall at railway station was selling commodity for Rs 5 more than its MRP.
Accordingly the C Rly commerce department conducted a well planed raid and found the stall keeper woman at fault and suspended her. Sources said that a passenger had lodged a complaint against the said woman stall keeper about five months ago on similar ground. Certain passengers informed that there were some more stalls whose keepers were also selling the available commodities for more than the printed MRP.
