Sadar police along with VBD publications conducted a raid at Xerox centre at Mangalwari Bazaar on Saturday afternoon. The Xerox shop owner Mohammad Ayaaz and Jayas Ahmed, both 25, has been booked under relevant sections of Indian Copy Right Act, 1957.
Police informed that VBD publications are known for publishing all engineering books. Ayaaz and Ahmed would make Xerox copies of the books, bind it and would sell to students at cheaper rate. Thus, on the complaint filed by VBD publications, police conducted the raid and booked Ayaaz and Ahmed.
