    Rahate Colony Square witnesses convergent-accidents on Monday


    Nagpur: Growing vehicular traffic on busy streets of the city has become inevitable these days of hustle-bustle life in which everybody is in a hurry. The situation becomes risky and horrifying when it comes to busy road-squares.

    Break-failure resulted in nearly eight vehicles getting damaged. According to police officials, the brakes of the tanker failed when he was stopping the vehicle at the traffic signal of Rahate Colony Square on October 12, 2015 noon. The tanker was loaded with Petrol (which is Hazchem or hazardous chemicals).

    The tanker rammed into the Maruti Alto car and Indica Vista Car. As a result the Indica Vista Car climbed on the road divider. The Maruti Alto car them went and rammed into the Mahindra Xylo SUV. These two vehicles in-turn rammed into a Maharashtra State Transport Bus and Mahindra XUV. As a chain reaction, an Audi too was damaged in the mishap. Two two-wheelers too were damaged in this road mishap including a Honda Activa and a TVS-Wego.

    Three persons were injured in the road mishap. The three include 1. Akash Pandurang Dobde aged 25 years and resident of Shesh Nagar, Nagpur, 2. A Vishwas Taiwade aged 14 years and a resident of Narendra Nagar (Pillion Rider in the two-wheeler) and 3. Madhuri Kishore Deshmukh aged 55 years and resident of Tapovan Complex, Wardha Road.

    While the traffic was log-jammed, the police rushed to the spot to regulate the situation.
