Nagpur: Maharashtra Bhushan Awardee and Playwright of Shiv Sangram Mahanatya as well as its director, Balasaheb Purandare paid a goodwill visit to Union Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari here in the city on Saturday.
It was his first visit after being honoured with highest award of the state. On this occasion, Gadkari felicitated Purandare with shawl and shriphal.
It may be mentioned that the award conferred on Purandare had gathered a lot of controversy over some period of time. The media wanted to talk to Purandare, but he declined.
