Nagpur: Guardian minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule on Monday directed to restore electricity supply to the storm-hit areas of Katol, Narkhed tehsil.
Similarly, the people who have suffered losses be provided with help on war-footing. The officers of the revenue department will have to be present themselves to sort out the water problems prevailing in these areas and the daily life in these villages should be restored as usual in 5 days. Bawankule directed the district administration and MSEDCL officers.
Bawankule visited the Katol-Narkhed tehsil to review the relief work in these areas hit by storm on May 19.
Those prominently present with him were MLA Dr Ashish Deshmukh, Dr Rajeev Potdar, district collector Sachin Kurve, chairman education (ZP) Umesh Chavan, chief engineer (MSEDCL) Prasad Reshme and deputy divisional officer of Katol Avinash Katde.
