Nagpur: Sanathan Dharam Yuva Sabha like every year, this year too had organized the Ravan Dahan on October 22, 2015. Including around 148-150 Youth, around 384 members of the Sanathan Dharam Yuva Sabha worked hard to make the event different, entertaining and yet full of religious overtures.
The Chief Guest for the event President of Vishwa Hindu Parishad Praveen Tagodia arrived promptly at 6 pm.
The other dignitaries on the dais included MLA Sudhakar Deshmukh, MLA Krishna Khopde, MLA Milind Mane and others welcomed him. The office-bearers of the Sanathan Dharam Yuva Sabha too welcome him with floral bouquets.
President of Vishwa Hindu Parishad Praveen Tagodia while addressing the thousands of citizens who were present at Kasturchand Park ground, said that Hindus have created a niche for themselves in India as well as the whole world. He prayed for the Almighty God to bless the Hindus, Prosper them and to make them Happy, employment for all the youth, safety andd security for all Hindu brethren.
The youth of the Sanathan Dharam Yuva Sabha enacted a skit from the Epic Ramayana. The skit was enacted on top of the structure in the North-West direction of the KP ground.
A lazer show was also organized before and during the skit. The Lazer light show enthralled the thousands of citizens at KP ground.
Finally the office-bearers of Sanathan Dharam Yuva Sabha arrived on the grounds with President of Vishwa Hindu Parishad Praveen Tagodia along with his security personnel.
While Praveen Tagodia was yet to set off the lighting of Ravan, the effigy of Meghnad started burning due to some fire-crackers that were set off a little distance away. Immediately after the effigy of Ravan started burning the effigy of Kumbhakaran too started burning.
