Prafullbhai Doshi Honoured at Steel Chamber’s Diwali Get-Together

Nagpur: The Steel and Hardware Chamber of Vidarbha, the apex body representing steel and hardware entrepreneurs from the region, recently hosted its Family Diwali Get-together, Lifetime Achievement and Felicitation Ceremony at Naivedhyam Estoria, Bharat Nagar Square, Kalamna Road, Nagpur.

The evening began with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the Chamber’s President, Office Bearers, Past Presidents and sponsors, marking an auspicious start to the celebrations. The event was graciously sponsored by Mukunda Keshava Infra & Ramsons Group, Lloyds Metals & Energy Limited, and Concrete TMT (Sohanlal Sons).

In his address, Chamber President Sanjay K. Agrawal extended warm greetings to all members on the occasion of Diwali and the New Year, wishing them happiness, prosperity, and continued success. He expressed satisfaction over the Chamber’s achievements during the past year and reaffirmed the commitment to work collectively for the growth of the industry and welfare of members. He also highlighted the Chamber’s new initiative, “Aapka Pratinidhi – Aapka Setu,” aimed at strengthening communication between members and the Chamber, and urged members to actively participate in it.

The highlight of the evening was the presentation of the “Steel Chamber Metafence Lifetime Achievement Award” to Shri Prafullchandra (Prafullbhai) Doshi in recognition of his exemplary contribution to the iron and steel trade. The award was sponsored by Nagpur Weldwire Products Private Limited.

As part of the celebrations, 16 meritorious children of Chamber members were felicitated with silver medals and certificates of appreciation. The Chamber also honoured five member couples celebrating their silver or golden wedding jubilees, and three senior members who recently attained the age of 65 years. A special attraction of the evening was the “Ayodhya Karmabhumi Housie”, which was enthusiastically enjoyed by members and their families.

On this occasion, Dr. Dipen K. Agrawal, former President of the Chamber and President of CAMIT, was felicitated with a floral bouquet. In his address, he emphasized the importance of unity among members and commended the Chamber for instituting the Lifetime Achievement Award and maintaining a transparent and thoughtful selection process.

The event concluded with Mukul Agrawal delivering a heartfelt vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to all senior members, special invitees, families, sponsors, and media representatives for their gracious presence and continued support to the Chamber’s initiatives.
