Nagpur: Mahanirmiti (Maharashtra State Electricity Generation Company Limited or MSEGCL) is likely to increase power generation in the state by 3230 MW. For all this, the credit goes to the efforts made by State Electricity Minister and Guardian Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule for enhancement of power generation in the state.
It may be mentioned that due to his efforts, 2 units of 500 MW each are starting at Chandrapur and a unit of 660 MW is starting soon at Koradi. Thus, in all the state will generate 3230 MW power.
The MSEGCL with this achievement has brought a revolution in the field of power generation. Minister Bawankule takes keen interest in power generation activities and keeps contacting MSEGCL officials and engineers in order to find out their difficulties on the way and makes the required arrangements to run the show of power generation.
He is equally aware of load-shedding and power cuts at many parts, particularly in rural parts, and the difficulties faced by consumers. He has worked untiringly for 18 hours, and the result is in front of him.
