Positive sentiments for Trade & Industry :  CA Julfesh Shah, Vice Chairman, WIRC of ICAI

The election results signifies a remarkable, historical and landslide victory for NDA, which has aroused a wave of positive sentiments amongst all the sections of country more specifically trade and industry. It is time for the industry to hope for some major economic reforms and pro growth industrial policies which will pave way for all inclusive growth of the country.

I hope that the lacunas in the Companies Act, 2013 and proposed Direct Tax Code will be addressed by Modi led government which has the potential to Modify india’s skyline. As far as Vidarbha is concerned, I am sure that clear majority to BJP indicates new dawn for economic growth and take off for the Vidarbha.

This is more evident to happen from the fact with NDA getting all seats from Vidarbha, Gadkariji has emerged more stronger and is sure to play an important role in Government and definitely prestigious project MIHAN will now see the day of light and hope.

Stable government will pave way for sustained economic development : CA Ashwini Agrawal , Chairman, Nagpur Branch of ICAI

The unity and physic of Indian voters needs to be appreciated as they have voted for a stable government with clear mandate. Since last 25 years, the voters were returning a fractured mandate and coalition government. But this time with strong leadership in sight, voters have voted for a single party rule and I am sure it will pave way for sustained economic development of India, the fruits of which can be shared and enjoyed by all sections of the society.

With GST, DTC in the offing, the new taxation regime to be enacted by new government will carve out a new corporate India. I am sure Shri Nitinji Gadkari will have a stronger voice in new government and with his pro development and pro growth image, Vidarbha will soon become a reality having a huge impact on standard of living of this part of country.
