The city of Nagpur witnessed another victorious stint on the day of Dussehra – a festival which symbolises victory of good over evil. Railing up on the similar lines, the Nagpur Metro Rail workers braved all odds to accomplish the first milestone in the project in the shortest possible time. The project saw its maiden trial run on Dussehra amid the presence of entire government machinery along with caretakers of the project.
The dignitaries include Maharashtra’s Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. Union Minister Nitin Gadkari, SBI Chairman Arundhati Bhattacharya, senior bureaucrats and various other political leaders.

The event not only upped the optimism on the leadership front but also exuded the feel of achievement among the Nagpurians who took pride in seeing the gigantic development going on right in front of them.
As the chief minister flagged off the train the excitement was quite evident in the atmosphere and the glare can be gauged from the happy faces on the occasion.
