Nagpur: With three days left for the Vidhan Sabha elections, a flag march was taken out by the city police and the paramilitary personnel here on Friday October 10, 2014.
In a display of police might, the Nagpur Police took out a flag march through the slum areas. Around 460 security personnel participated in the flag march, which began from the Ramnagar Square. The security personnel participating in the flag march included:

4. Jawans of Tamil Nadu 100

5. State Reserve Police 68

6. ITBP 150
7. Nagpur Police Jawans 100
8. Women Police Constables 15
The entire squad was armed and in their full police battle attire. They passed through the winding streets of the Pandhrapodi Slum areas and Verma Layout.
The Flag March was led by the Assistant Commissioner of Police Anil Tatkare and Police Inspector In-charge of Ambazhari Police Station Anil Katkade, the security personnel marched through the slum areas. The flag march was taken out to instill confidence in the minds of the public, said PI Anil Katkade.
