Mumbai: Facing continuous attack from BJP MP Subramanian Swamy and other sections, questions have been raised as to whether Raghuram Rajan would be considered for a second term as RBI Governor when his tenure ends in September.
The answer, according to our sources, is yes.
A colleague in Delhi tells us that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has made up his mind to extend Raghuram Rajan’s tenure as Reserve Bank of India governor.
