PIET organized an Intercollegiate Technical Fest “AVISH-16”

AVISH technical eventNagpur: The Computer Science & Engineering Department of Priyadarshini Institute of Engineering & Technology recently organised Two days Intercollegiate Technical Fest “AVISH-16”, The ultimate platform to showcase student’s technical skills under the banner of CSI (Computer Society of India).

Chief guest Mridul Chakravorty, Head TCS, Nagpur inaugurate the fest in presence of Dr. Vivek Nanoti, Principal PIET. Mridul Sir encourage and motivates the students for placement purpose and shared their experiences. Dr. Vivek Nanoti Sir stimulate the development of students activities such as improving curiosity corner, sharing knowledge on Emerging Technologies.

In First day, first round of 4 events start in 4 different LABs parallely. The events JAVA FREAK is the platform to test the students Java skills. If the students have startup plan or an idea to develop a unique application, present their idea in the event IDYEAH. CONVOKE test the hardware assembling and booting a PC.The gaming event ARMAGEDDON includes different ga mes such as FIFA, CS, NFS, Pocket Tanks. CODE STORM is the c coding competition at pro level. An Internet treasure hunt done in WEB SHERLOCK event and the Innoviz is the ultimate quiz competition to test students wit.There are 350 participant from different colleges participated in event and won the cash prizes for every event.

Dr. Vivek Nanoti, Principal, Dr. G. M. Asutkar, Vice Principal, Dr. S. N. Rao, Academic Coordinator also inaugurate the Departmental Magazine TESTAMNET-16 (a sign or evidence of a specified fact, event, or quality of students). Prof. Leena H. Patil Head, CSE spoke on the ocassion. Prof. Uma K. Thakur Event Coordinator “AVISH”, briefed about the Events, Adnan wagh, student coordinator, AVISH proposed a Vote of Thanks.

The event was successful with the team efforts of departmental faculty members, students coordinators. Management of Lokmanya Shikshan Sanstha extended support for the programme and best wishes for future endeavors.
