Petrol price cut by Rs 3.02 but diesel to be costlier by Rs 1.47

Nagpur: Petrol price has been reduced by Rs 3.02 a litre while that of diesel increased by Rs 1.47 a litre, according to a press statement issued by oil companies on Monday.

State-owned fuel retailers Indian Oil Corporation (IOC), Bharat Petroleum Corporation (BPCL) and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd (HPCL) revise rates of the fuel on 1st and 16th of every month based on average oil price and foreign exchange rate in the preceding fortnight.
