Nagpur: Fuel prices have gone up once again, marking the fourth hike in the last 10 days. Oil companies increased petrol prices by ₹2.61 per litre and diesel prices by ₹2.71 per litre, putting additional pressure on household budgets and transport costs across Nagpur and Vidarbha.
With the latest revision, petrol prices in Nagpur have now crossed the ₹109 mark, while diesel is nearing ₹96 per litre. According to the latest updates, petrol in Nagpur is priced around ₹109.37 per litre and diesel around ₹95.72 per litre.
Nagpur Fuel Rates Today
- Petrol: ₹109.37 per litre
- Diesel: ₹95.72 per litre
The recent hikes are being linked to rising global crude oil prices and geopolitical tensions in West Asia, especially the ongoing Iran conflict, which has disrupted international energy markets.
The continuous increase in fuel prices is expected to impact transportation, grocery delivery, logistics, and daily commuting expenses in Nagpur. Auto-rickshaw drivers, cab operators, and small businesses have expressed concern over the repeated hikes, warning that the rising fuel costs may eventually push up prices of essential goods as well.
Experts believe that if crude oil prices continue to rise globally, fuel prices in India could see further increases in the coming weeks.
