Nagpur: A hit-and-run incident in the Sakkardara area claimed the life of a pedestrian. According to police, Razia Bano Kalandar Shah (60) was struck by a speeding car (MH40/AR-9162) near Nandanwar Hospital on June 28 at 8 pm.

Shah was seriously injured in the accident and was immediately taken to a hospital for medical attention. Despite the efforts of medical staff, she succumbed to her injuries on August 4 at 1,26 pm.

In response to a complaint filed by Shah’s daughter, Fatiha Bano Didar Shah (40), a resident of Motha Tajbag, a case has been registered against the unidentified car driver under sections 279 and 304(a) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). The police are actively searching for the driver.
