Nagpur: September 19. Pause and Patience are the potential force multipliers in business said Cyril Sukhare, Director, Canadian Corporate Trainer, while addressing a large gathering at VIA Hall.

Cyrus was delivering a talk on “Force multipliers in business: an attitude”in a programme organized by Marketing Forum of VIA.

Elaborating on the subject he went on to explain, what force multiplier is. According to him force multiplier is a capability that when added to and employed by a combat force significantly increases the combat potential of that force and thus enhances the probability of successful mission accomplishment.

Cyril further went on to narrate three real life stories and suggested the take away which can definitely work wonders in our day to day life and in our business.

Sukhare said that one should realise the importance of silence. He suggested that one should not speak when not required. He further mentioned that one should not answer unasked questions.

He also shared about the tragic accident that took lives of seven astronauts. He highlighted the Poor Technical Decision making taken by top NASA personal, who failed to act decisively.

He said that “Past success is a big threat to future success”. Giving an example of news coverage in Chicago Times which was merely an assumption proved to be a big blunder. He suggested that one should not assume things but keep patience to know about the actual reality. He said to succeed in business one should never have an attitude of ‘I know it all’.

At the outset, Akash Agrawal, Chairperson-VIA Marketing Forum gave the opening remarks and welcome address. Shikha Khare, Convener- Marketing Forum introduced the speaker.

Floral welcome of Sukhare was done by Rohit Agrawal, Hon Secretary, VIA. Summing up and vote of thanks was proposed by Hetal Gaglani, Co-Convener – VIA Marketing Forum.
