The police and civic authorities seem to be nonchalant over illegal Hukka Parlour running in Futala

Nagpur: With the news of illegal Hukka Parlour racket running brazenly in Futala area, the owners and the customers have become wary. While the owners reacted sharply and aggressively to this news knowing fully well that their business is going to suffer losses and on the other hand the customers have now become cautious and have a fear of being apprehended by the cops anytime.

The Police officials of Ambazhari Police Station have admitted that the Hukka Parlour is running in Futala. However, we fail to understand why they are hesitant in taking any penal action against the owners of the Hukka Parlour. For best reasons known only to them, the cops do not even take action against the rowdyism that one can see near the parlour.

According to a reliable source close to the owner of the Hukka Parlour, the Hukka Parlour is making a brisk business of approximately Rs 15,000/- to Rs 20,000/-. Sources added that the recurring expenditure for the owner of the Hukka Parlour is only about 10% of the daily earnings. The 10% expenses are made for the material which includes flavored tobacco and coal.

It could be mentioned that Nagpur Today had carried a story tilted “Illegal Hukka Parlour racket brazenly running in Futala”.
