Nagpur: The Social Security Branch of Nagpur Police conducted a late-night raid on an illegal hookah parlour in Pachpaoli police station limits and arrested three persons for allegedly providing tobacco-based hookah to customers.
Acting on a tip-off about an illegally operated hookah parlour in Siddharth Nagar, Teka Naka, the Social Security Branch raided Plot No. 2, located opposite Shree Mangal Dairy, on Wednesday night.

During the operation, police allegedly found the accused serving tobacco-based hookah and providing customers with facilities to consume it on the premises.
Police seized hookah pots, various hookah flavours and other equipment used for smoking hookah. The total value of the seized material has been estimated at around Rs 31,000.
The arrested accused have been identified as Shahrukh Khan, Sheikh Armaan and Mohammad Sameer Ansari.
A case has been registered against the trio under the relevant provisions of law. The accused, along with the seized material, have been handed over to Pachpaoli police for further investigation and legal action.
