Outsiders have helped in making BJP No. 1 party, says Danve

Nagpur: A lot of resentment is growing within the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) because of the party ticket of legislature Council has been allotted to Prasad Lad, a new entrant, who entered BJP-fold leaving the Nationalist Congress Party. The party workers feel that the BJP loyalists are neglected and the outsiders are getting all importance. Replying to such questions BJP’s Pradesh President Raosaheb Danve made it clear that the outsiders have helped in making the BJP party number one.

The leaders coming from other parties were given candidature for Vidhan Sabha election. The number of outsiders is just 14 per cent while the percentage of party candidates is 84 per cent, Pradesh President said. He further said, it is not proper to raise questions on Lad’s candidature as he is BJP’s Vice –President in Maharashtra and a BJP member. The party has to take care of everybody. He said that once BJP was on the fourth number, today it is number one party.

Danve has is on Maharashtra tour for organisational expansion. On Thursday he spoke to East Vidarbha office bearers. He said that the party has appointed expanders on all the 288 seats of Vidhan Sabha. According to Danve in state BJP has appointed 70 per cent booth chiefs and on the remaining 30 they would be appointed by December end. He mentioned that a special war room has be made in Mumbai for keeping a watch on the work of booth chiefs. He also informed that all the booth chiefs have been given mobiles with GPS system through which watch would be kept on their work.

Narayanrao Rane sure to become minister
Narayanrao Rane is sure to become minister though earlier there were tiffs between BJP and Sena over Rane becoming a minister, informed Danve. According to him the ministry would be expanded after the winter session and Rane would be made minister. He also said that Rane has not entered BJP-fold but he has formed his own party – Maharashtra Swabhiman Party which forms the part of NDA and so there is no reason why anybody should object.

BJP wants to strengthen party
Danve said that the party has been trying to have hold on all 91,000 booths in State. No doubt Sena is with them but they are working to make organisation strong. He said Sena and BJP had contested Vidhan Sabha polls separately. If in near future if this stage arise then the party should prepared. BJP and Sena have been together for last 25 years are running the government and Sena have never opposed any decision. The government will complete its term, he added.

Loan waiver amount will reach by December end
Talking about loan waiver of farmers, Danve said that the loan waiver amount has not reached the farmers but it will reach by December end and will be deposited in their accounts. He said that the things got delayed because there were flaws in the list sent by the bank.
