One rescued; Couple luring young girls into flesh trade arrested

Nagpur: Some people can stoop very low to make money. In a similar case that came to light occurred in Hudkeshwar Nagar area, where very reliable information was received through confidential tip off that flesh trade was going on in a house. The couple who lived in the rented accommodation used to lure poor and needy young girls with the lure of money and force them into flesh trade. Based on the tip-off, the Social Security Branch of Nagpur Crime Branch raided the premises and rescued one young girl and arrested the couple on April 3, 2015.

According to police sources, the cops got a very reliable tip off that flesh trade was going on in Plot No 35, Sambaji Nagar, by a woman accused identified as Vanmala alias Puja. Sources added that Vanmala used to lure poor and needy young girls and forced them into flesh trade for self monetary gains. Her husband identified as Deepak Roshanlal Jaiswal used to bring customers on his Honda Activa two-wheeler bearing RTO registration number MH-40/ E-4209 to the rented accommodation to Vanmala alias Puja.

After informing the superior police officials Additional Commissioner of Police (Crime) S K Tarwade and Assistant Police Commissioner (Crime) Nilesh Raut, and under their guidance, Senior Police Inspector of Social Security Branch B M Powar, Woman Police Inspector Sonali Patil, Assistant Police Sub-Inspector Madne, Police Head Constable Pandurang Nikore Prakash Sidam, Police Constable Sanjay Pandey, Yogesh Ghodki, Woman Police Constable Sonali Patil, Asmita Meshram, Driver Assistant Police Sub Inspector Pandhre, Photographer Rewatkar and Social Worker Maya Ghorpade raided the rented premises situated at Plot No 35, Sambaji Nagar, Hudkeshwar and rescued one victim woman and arrested one male accused identified as Deepak Roshanlal Jaiswal aged 35 years and his wife identified as Vanmala alias Puja Deepak Jaiswal for running a flesh trade in a place which is situated within 200 meters of Untkhana Social and Religious place. Both the accused were arrested under Section 3, 4, 5 and 7 of Suppression of Immoral Traffic in Women and Girls Act, 1956 by the Hudkeshwar Police Station.
