Nagpur: One more college-bound teenage girl has gone missing and reportedly kidnapped in Kalamna area here on Wednesday. A 17-year old girl, who had gone to R S Mundle Arts and Commerce College, Dharampeth for admission, was also abducted by a youth on the same day.
In the instant case, the 16-year old girl, resident of Kalamna, took money and left her home around 11 am on Wednesday for going to a college for admission. However, she did not return home and since then went missing. Her parents search her at all possible places but to no avail. Finally, a complaint in this regard was lodged at Kalamna Police Station.
PSI C M Randive, as per the directives of Supreme Court that if a minor girl or boy goes missing then the case be treated as kidnapping, has registered an offence under Section 363 of the IPC and launched search to trace the girl.
An 18-year old girl of Yashodhara Nagar too is missing. The girl left her home around 6 pm on Wednesday without informing her relatives and did not return. A search of the girl by relatives went in vain.
