Nagpur: One accused was caught with 6 kg of marijuana (Ganja) in Lodhipura area coming under Ganeshpeth police station.
According to the report, Constable Anand of Ganeshpeth had got information that a youth is standing near Lodhipura’s Sheetala Mata Mandir in a suspicious condition. He possess marijuana and has come to give it to a customer. The police immediately reached the spot on intervening night of Wednesday and Thursday around 2.30 am and caught the youth. On checking him the police found a bag containing 6 kg of marijuana and Rs 6000. On interrogating the youth the police came to know that his name was Sheikh Imran, a resident of Bada Tajbag. Sheikh Imran had been selling marijuana since many days. He had come near Sheetala Mata’s Mandir to reach the marijuana. Police have registered a case against him in Ganeshpeth police station for selling marijuana.
