Nagpur: If one cheats the masses, one should be ready to pay the price of facing the ire of the masses. Tricksters, scamsters often assume that they may get away after cheating the masses of crores of rupees. In one such action, angered victims of Phoenix Infrastructures Private Limited who had invested their hard earned money on the plots allegedly sold by the company, had come to their office situated next to Lokmat Building. When they did not get their money and were told to come later, the angered mob of around 5 women and 6 men had smashed the glass table-tops, computers, fans, air-conditioners etc.

The receptionist of Phoenix Infra Estate International Limited identified as Atul Dhananjay who was sitting in the reception desk was approached by a group of around 10 people which included 5 women. They demanded their money back. The receptionist had said that he will talk to his boss and find out their problems. However, they insisted on getting their money immediately. When he could not pacify the crowd, they started breaking the glass-fitments, computers, fans and air-conditioners etc.

The mob however did not reveal where they had brought their land. The receptionist told the media personnel that Phoenix Infra Estate International Limited have sites at MIHAN, Kaldongri, Pewta, Isasani etc.

Sources also revealed that when the owners of Phoenix Infra Estate International Limited did not give back the money invested, Manoj Shende of Sanskruti Group has allegedly taken possession of the 1st floor, owned by Phoenix Infra Estate International Limited.

Very reliable sources said that on February 12, 2015, the Yavatmal Urban Bank had auctioned off the land at Kaldongri which was hypothecated or mortgaged with the Bank against the pending loan. However, the directors of Phoenix Infra Estate International Limited had allegedly sold the mortgaged land to many people too.

In another fraud that has come to fore, the accused directors had allegedly received money worth crores of rupees (approximately Rs 15 crores) for the land sold to many people. However, sources claimed that the land is mortgaged with Bank of Baroda.

It could be mentioned here that Nagpur Today was the only newspaper who had carried the news of Phoenix Infra Estate International Limited and the alleged fraud which they had committed.

Seven Managing Directors, Directors and officials of Phoenix Infra Estate International Limited. were detained by Indore police for fraud, cheating and forgery. On the basis of complaints received, the Crime Branch of Indore police registered a case under sections 420, 467 and 468 (Cheating, Fraud and Forgery) of IPC against the Managing Directors, Directors and officials of Phoenix Infra Estate International Limited.

They had allegedly forged the registration documents of that area and had been displaying that to the citizens of Indore. The accused had convinced the potential buyers to make the entire payments. However, in spite of depositing the entire amount, the directors had failed to register the flats/houses in their name.

The Branch office of Phoenix Infrastructure Pvt. Ltd, situated at 334 Orbit Mall, Indore was perpetually closed and the directors were never available for answering the questions.

The complainants have lodged a complaint against the following seven accused namely:
1. Ahmed Jiwani a resident of Chindwara Road, Nagpur.
2. Vijay Kumar Gautam a resident of Somalwada, Nagpur.
3. Chairman of the company Jitesh Nashine a resident of Shyam Nagar,   Somalwada.
4. Brother of Jitesh, Yogesh Nashine a resident of Shyam Nagar, Somalwada.
5. Third brother, Mahesh Nashine also resident of Shyam Nagar, Somalwada.
6. Dinesh Chandrashekhar, a resident of Manish Nagar and
7.  Pradeep Rathore, a local official and a resident of ParshavnathNagar, Indore.

Sources said that Vijay Kumar Gautam and Ahmed Jiwani have allegedly left the company.
