Nagpur Press Photographer’s Association (NPPA) is organizing a programme to felicitate the senior photographers who devoted their entire life in this field and also did social work through this profession. This information was shared by the Association in a press conference held at Tilak Patrakar Bhavan. On August 19, 2014, the World Photography Day, Nagpur Press Photographer’s Association will felicitate the senior photographers Ashok Sawane and Arvind Purande. The programme will be held at Vishnuji Ki Rasoi, Kachipura, Bajaj Nagar Road, Nagpur.
Ashok Sawane is retired photojournalist who worked in The Hitavada English daily and Arvind Purande is the Head of Department, RTMNU’s Chhand Mandir (Hobby Center).
Mohan Rathod, Director, Information and Publicity Department, Nagpur Division will be the chief guest of the programme. Pravin Darade, Chairman, NIT and Anil Thakre, PRO, Nagpur will be the special guests, informed NPPA members at the press conference.
