‘Parched’ actress Tannishtha Chatterjee recently slammed Krushna Abhishek’s comedy show ‘Comedy Nights Bachao’ in a Facebook post for ‘roasting’ her on her skin tone. While the latter called it a publicity stunt, senior actor Prem Chopra too has come out in support of the show. The most loved villain of Bollywood asserted that this indeed was a publicity stunt as she might have taken up a social cause against racism and may have chosen the opportunity for publicity. He said that the show’s content is in good faith.
Giving an example, he said that even Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan make jokes about themselves and one has to learn to laugh at oneself. He also added that despite jokes being cracked about his baldness, he takes them in his stride. He asserted that the show is not about laughing at people, but laughing with them and if you cannot take a joke, you should not go on such a show.
