Nagpur: Maharashtra Legislative Assembly Speaker Rahul Narvekar on Thursday said that nobody’s voice will be suppressed in the House, but unparliamentary conduct by any member will not be tolerated either..

He described the Lower House of the state legislature as a “premiere” legislative body in the country.

Narvekar was here to oversee the new facilities being put in place at the Vidhan Bhavan, where the winter session of the state legislature is planned to be held from December 19. It was his first visit to Nagpur after assuming the role of the Assembly speaker.
