No peace between India and Pakistan without resolving Kashmir issue: Sharif

Statement by His Excellency Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Raising Kashmir issue at the United Nations General Assembly, Pakistan PM Nawaz Sharif on Wednesday said that peace between India and Pakistan cannot be finally achieved without resolution to the Kashmir dispute.

“Kashmiris are reacting to India’s illegal occupation of Kashmir,’ Sharif said.

Raising current unrest in Kashmir, Sharif said, “I demand an independent inquiry into the extrajudicial killings in Kashmir and an end to the curfew.”
