NMC’s Dharampeth zone office seizes properties worth Rs 6.50 crore for non payment of tax dues

Nagpur Municipal Corporation’s (NMC) Dharampeth Zone no. 2, Tax Collection department seized properties worth Rs 6.50 crore for non payment of tax dues.

The details of the properties as supplied by NMC are: house no. 758/B in ward no. 68 belonging to Darshana Co-operative Housing Society, having total no of 65 plots and outstanding tax dues worth Rs 15.50 lakhs.

The proceedings were carried out in the presence of Dharampeth Zone assistant commissioner, Rajesh Karade, assistant tax  assessment officer Kedar Mishra. The other officials present at this time were zone tax inspector and collector Karnik, Ravindra Bharati, Gujar, Khedkar, Malve, Mehrulia, Argode, Panchbhai and Raibole.
