Nagpur: In a significant development, three Assistant Municipal Commissioners attached to Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) have been promoted to the rank of Deputy Municipal Commissioner by Maharashtra Government.
Those promoted are — Swati Kale, Rashmi Chavan and Suvarna Dakhne. They belong to Assistant Municipal Commissioner, Group-I category. The promotion and posting orders were received by NMC wherein Kale will join Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation, Chavan to Vasai-Virar Municipal Corporation and Dakhne to Nashik Municipal Corporation.

They will be on deputation at the respective posting places. Municipal Commissioner and Administrator Dr Abhijeet Chaudhari relieved the three officials to enable them to join new places of posting. Barring Kale, who was working in Mangalwari Zone, the other two Assistant Municipal Commissioners were with Headquarters. Kale’s charge is temporarily given to Narendra Bawankar.
