Nagpur: Amid the growing clamor for bringing awareness about the use of sanitary pads and sensitizing the society towards the menstrual cycle of women, the Nagpur Municipal Corporation has also stepped up its noble move. The NMC authorities on Friday organised a special screening of new release movie Padman, for the students of civic-run schools. The movie, based on the real life of a man who fought all odds to make sanitary pads at cheaper cost to provide for the rural women, has been inspiring many to come to the forefront and get vocal on the issue.

The students of school run by Nagpur Municipal Corporation were taken to Liberty Cinema where the special screening of Pad Man was scheduled.

In addition to it, MLA Girish Vyas, and Mayor Nanda Zichkar also paid visit to the girl students and distributed sanitary napkins among them.
