Nagpur: Nagpur Municipal Corporation has issued a notification for recruitment of EX-Servicemen in 87 posts. The corporation is appointing Nuisance Detection Squad (NDS) on contract basis to check nuisances in the jurisdiction of NMC. The selected Ex-Servicemen will be primarily trained by NMC. The appointed officials will keep check on nuisances and impose on the spot fine as decided by NMC.
Out of the 87 posts, one will be for Squad leader, 10 for Squad Zonal Leader and 76 for Security Assistants. The honorarium (in Rs.) decided along with qualification is as below :
Squad leader: 40,000
Squad Zonal Leader: 30,000
Security Assistant: 24,000

The interested can apply for the pots on www.nmcnagpur.gov.in or in the office of the Health Officer (Sanitation). The interviews for the same have been scheduled on 6th and 7th October.
The maximum age limit is 55 years, 50 years and 50 years in serial number of the posts.
