NMC seizes properties of Go Gas India Limited for defaulting payment of Rs 18,21,870 dues

In a major action against defaulters of Property Tax, the Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) on Wednesday (November 12) has seized properties of Go Gas India Limited situated on Katol Road, Nagpur. The company failed to pay Property Tax amounting to Rs 18,21,870 pending on House Nos. 489/A/10+11+12+63+64+65 in Ward No 62 of Mangalwari Zone-10.

Go Gas is a leading brand name operating the highest number of stand alone Auto LPG Dispensing Stations( ALDS ) by any private company in India. It is a trusted and a proven brand owned by the parent company Confidence Petroleum India Ltd which is planning to become the number one private company in the marketing and retailing of Packed LPG Cylinders.

The seizure action was carried out by Assistant Superintendent Shrikant Vaidya, Tax Inspector Sanjay Shende, Pradeep Maundekar, Junior Inspector Jambhulkar, Tax Collectors Kapil Thakre, Thute and others under the directives of Zone Assistant Commissioner Prakash Varade.
