Nagpur/Mumbai: The date of most sought after civic polls in Nagpur and Mumbai along with other municipal corporations will be announced on Wednesday. This apart dates for 26 Zila Parishads and Panchayat Samitis will also be announced in a press meet called by State Election Commission in Mumbai. The press meet has been called at 4 pm on Wednesday.
A few days ago State’s Chief Election Commissioner J. S. Saharia had said that Municipal Corporation and ZP elections will be held sometime in February, 2017.
He also cleared that the month of February has been picked up keeping in view the board exams of X and XII scheduled in the month of March.
