    NMC pays rich tributes to Dr Ambedkar on his 125th birth anniversary

    DrNagpur: A galaxy of dignitaries including Mayor Pravin Datke, Deputy Mayor Munna Pokulwar, Municipal Commissioner Shravan Hardikar and others paid rich tributes to Bharat Ratna Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar on his 125th birth anniversary today.

    Other prominent personalities who offered their homage to the Sudhir (Bandu) Raut, Ruling Party Leader Dayashankar Tiwari, Chairman of Medical and Health Committee Devendra Meher, Chairman of Transport Committee Narendra (Balya) Borkar, NIT Trustee Bhushan Shingne, Corporator Sangita Girhe and others. These dignitaries visited the Samvidhan Chowk (RBI Square) garlanded the statue of Dr Ambedkar and paid their respects to the architect of Indian Constitution.

    DrnmcThe dignitaries also paid their glowing homage to Dr Ambedkar at NMC’s Civil Lines office by garlanding the oil portrait of the first Law Minister of Independent India.

    Present on the occasion were Additional Municipal Commissioner R Z Siddiqui, Additional Deputy Commissioners Jayant Dandegaonkar, Pramod Bhusari, Corporation Secretary Harish Dubey, Executive Engineers Rahul Warke, Sanjay Jaiswal, D D Jambhulkar, Assistant Commissioner (GAD) Prakash Varade, PRO Ashok Kolhatkar, NMC Employees Union President Rajesh Hathibed and other prominent citizens. ,
