Nagpur: At the crack of the dawn, Wednesday morning was charged with yoga enthusiasts who gathered at Yeshwant Stadium around 5 am to mark International Yoga Day.
Many health enthusiasts breathed in and out deep to infuse the fresh lease of life not only into their mornings but also in strengthening the day’s significance.
The event was called by Nagpur Municipal Corporation. Union Surface Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari was prominently present on the occasion. Other political leaders and officials include Nagpur district Guardian Minister and State’s Energy Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule, NMC Mayor Nanda Jichkar, Rajya Sabha MP Vikas Mahatme and MLAs Sudhakar Deshmukh, Vikas Kumbhare, Girish Vyas, Deputy Mayor Deepraj Pardikar, NMC Ruling Party leader Sandeep Joshi, former Mayor Praveen Datke, Divisional Commissioner Anup Kumar, NMC Commissioner Ashwin Mudgal, Dr Deepak Mhaisikar, and many others.
