Nagpur: The voting for NMC Contractors Welfare Association, which began at 7.30 am on Aug 11 in the YMCA premises in Civil Lines, here, has reached more than 60% by the afternoon hours. The voting will continue till 5 pm.
The candidates and supporters of both the factions, Ramzan and Nayudu, were seen active and full of enthusiasm in and around the vicinity. It appears as if all are trying their best to get through, but all is going on peacefully.
Women entrepreneurs registered their late entry to take a view of the polling site. They are not contesting, but their husbands are doing contractorship on their behalf. As per our Nagpur Today special correspondent, voting is likely to touch 100% by the last moment.
