Nagpur News : Union transportation and shipping minister, Nitin Gadkari, after taking charge of the portfolio, for the first time met media persons. On this occasion, he inaugurated the website of Deendayal Upadhyay Institute of Medical Science Research and Human Resources.
Speaking about the institute Gadkari informed that the institute has so far conducted 553 health camps and has reached out medical assistance and medicines to nearly 2.5 lakh people. It is intended to extend medical assistance to all the needy people through this website. Similarly, the people will get information about their health problems through this website.
It may be mentioned that, the health camps conducted by the institute include, blood donation camps, eye testing camps, sicklecell awareness programme, cataract camp etc. The sole purpose of the website is to do self less social service and discharge social responsibility in a right way.
