Nagpur/Delhi: Union Shipping Minister Nitin Gadkari complained of uneasiness after addressing a public meeting today at Majuli island in Assam. Nearly after an hour’s speech he sat in his chair resting back his head.
A team of doctors, deployed at the venue on the occasion, rushed to the stage to attend to Gadkari. They checked his sugar and blood pressure levels. The minister’s blood pressure had shot up temporarily. Despite being a sugar patient the minister he does not neglect his work.
The volume of the speakers was considerably reduced and a large pedestal fan was placed next to him for his convenience. He was offered him a banana to eat. He was now out of danger.
Nitin Gadkari was at Majuli Island to flag off cargo movement on river Brahmaputra.
