Nagpur: Dozens of residents of Zingabai Takli and nearby areas, led by Corporator Arun Dawre, met Chief Engineer of Nagpur Improvement Trust Sunil Guzzalwar and submitted a memorandum on various demands. The residents mainly demanded repairs and tarring of different roads the work of which had already been sanctioned by the NIT in the second phase. The residents urged the NIT Chief Engineer to carry out the the repairing and tarring works before the onset of rainy season. The earlier such works were of inferior quality that resulted in the poor condition of roads and untold suffering to the residents in rainy season. The Chief Engineer assured the delegation that the necessary works will be started soon and directed the concerned officials accordingly.
