Nagpur: Department of Civil Engineering, Priyadarshini Indira Gandhi College of Engineering (PIGCE), organized NIRMAAN 2K18 forum installation ceremony for the students of Civil Engineering Department, of 2018-19 session. Yash Meshram, BIM Engineer, Techture Structure Pvt. Ltd., alumni of PIGCE, inaugurated the ceremony. Dr. R. M. Dhoble, Principal, congratulated the students and inspired them by his motivational speech. Prof. P. I. Rode, HOD Civil Engineering Department has briefed the gathering and informed the gathering about the unique practices followed in the Civil Engineering Department for making the students globally competent.
Prof. Pavan S Kamble (Forum In-charge) acquaint the gathering about various activities under the banner of NIRMAAN 2K18. Hitesh Dongre, President also briefed the gathering about of NIRMAAN 2K18.
Along with forum ceremony, Teacher’s Day was also celebrated by the students of Civil Engineering Department to mark birth anniversary of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan followed by cake cutting ceremony and events for faculties. Kiran Gedam, Vice-President concluded the ceremony by giving vote of thanks. Prof. Bharti R. Gautam, Forum Co-In-charge, faculty members, non-teaching staff and students worked hard to make this event a grand success.
