corey-anderson-nz-vs-saIn a nerve-wrecking 1st semi-final clash of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015, South Africa choked once again as New Zealand beat them by four wickets to book a berth in the finals. With a match-winning knock of 84, Elliott emerged as the hero for the Black Caps.
Chasing the mammoth South Africa total of 298 runs the Kiwis hit the target with one ball to spare and four wickets remaining.
Man of the Match, Grant Elliott said it was great. He thinks the win is not just for the team but everyone who is out here. He added it is a great feeling when 45000 people support you on every ball. He also praised Anderson for rotating the strike well.
