As the business of Cinema is getting more and more dependent on the first 3 day box office collection, having the correct marketing buzz is becoming very essential now a days. YRF launching a new trailer for the Indian release of their upcoming film “Titli” can be said to be the testimony to this fact.

“Titli” is making waves in festival circuits and won 8 awards already. As it gets ready to be released in India on 30th October, the makers, YRF and Dibakar Bannerjee Pictures released a new trailer suitable for Indian audience before a packed press conference. When asked for about the need for the same, Dibakar said, “When we showed the movie to few groups, they told us there is much more to the movie which is identifiable to common Indian moviegoers. Whereas, the earlier trailer was mostly for the international markets and festival circuit. And hence we decided to make a new trailer capitalising on these facts.”

While describing about the tagline of the movie, ‘har family, family nahi hoti’, Director Kanu Behl said, “Indian family has a certain kind of image and we expect it to have certain kind of structure, love and relations contrary to the fact that major percentage of the families are dysfunctional. And we want to tell an interesting and entertaining story of one such family.”

“And films from people like YRF and Dharma productions have nurtured this image of goodie goodie family relations brushing the dark reality under the carpet.”, Added Ranvir Shorey, “and I liked the fact that this movie tries to put a light on that in an entertaining manner.”

Kanu Behl who is associated with Dibakar Bannerjee since Love, Sex aur Dhokha and Oye Lucky, Lucky oye, has come up with a movie which is gritty, unique and still entertains everyone. From the trailer, we come to know about unimaginable relationships which this family has within themselves. The movie stars Ranvir Shorey, Amit Sial, Lalit Behl, Shashank Arora & Shivani Raghuvanshi.
