Nagpur: In a glittering Ceremony Installation of the Office Bearers of Rotary Club Of Nagpur South for 2017-18 headed by President Rtn. Amit Gokhale and Secretary Rtn Adv. Amit Kukday was held at Hotel Ashoka, West High Court Road, Laxmi Nagar, on 30th June2017 at the hands of District Governor Elect 2017-18 Rtn. Dr. K.S. Rajan, (Dist 3030). Asst. Governor Rtn. Shri Dhananjay Bapat was Guest of Honour.

At the outset, outgoing President Rtn. Satish Raipure made welcome speech and felicitated outstanding members for various projects. Outgoing Secretary Rtn Shrivallabh Kothe presented Annual Report. The Roaster and the Bulletin “Southern Light” were released on the occasion. The Solar Panel for street lighting in remotest places where the is no electricity was formally inaugurated by DGE Rtn Dr. K. S. Rajan. In the acceptance speech Rtn Amit Gokhale highlighted his plans and sought cooperation of the members to take the club to newer heights by newer projects besides flagship project like Melghat Surgical Camp, Thyroid Workshops, Saturday School, Village Adoption etc. DG Dr. K. S. Rajan congratulated the new team and thanked them for conducting Blood Donation Camp on the very first day. He mentioned that Rotary Club of Nagpur South was the sponsoring Club of Nagpur West from where he is becoming the highest office of DG. He urged members to work together to understand the spirit of Rotary and bring Quality service Projects to make the difference in lives of society at large. He said Rotary offers opportunity to help the needy and gives one immense pleasure of serving the humanity. Dhannajay Bapat. introduced DG Dr. K.S. Rajan to the audeince full to the capacity of the hall.
The Installation ceremony was attended by large numbers of Rotarians of the clubs of Nagpur and past DGs. Presidents and Secretaries and other dignitaries of dist. 3030. Rtn Ravi Aher and Mrs. Kavita Aher were the MOC. Secretary Rtn . Adv. Amit Kukday proposed the vote of thanks.
