Nagpur: With the probe into Sana Khan murder case hitting a dead end, Nagpur police are again proceeding to Jabalpur to gather fresh clues. As per reports, Commissioner of Police Amitesh Kumar has constituted a fresh team and asked it to leave for the neighbouring State.

The team includes two officers of the rank of Deputy Commissioner of Police, some junior officers and forensic experts. The main hurdle before the investigators is that they have not been able to trace the body of Sana, so far. The main accused Pappu Sahu managed to hoodwink the cops despite being in police custody for a fairly long period. The entire case is now based on circumstantial evidence and cops are still struggling to pin down the culprits. Hence, the Commissioner of Police after brainstorming, decided to further explore Jabalpur region.

The two DCPs and their team are going there to gather clinching evidence in the case. The main aim is to, somehow, get clues about the body of Sana Khan, a functionary of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Minority Cell in Nagpur. For the city police, the main challenge is to get some toehold in Jabalpur territory where they are not getting desired cooperation.

Though Nagpur police started investigations quite early after getting news about the disappearance of Sana they were handicapped by absence of local inputs in Jabalpur. Hence the main accused Pappu managed to elude the city police for quite a long period. During the period, the accused managed to destroy the evidence and cover-up their tracks.
