NDRA welcomes the new Police Commission of Orange City

Nagpur: 2018 proves to be the beginning of a new era as it sealed the bond of trust, admiration and respect between the members of Nagpur District Rifle Association (NDRA) and the honorable new Police Commissioner of Orange City Shri. Bhushan Kumar Upadhayay.

This small event at CP Office was not just about ‘flower bouquet and clicks’ but it was a big steptowardssaving and nourishing the legacy called NDRA.

Established in 1985, with mere 17 members, called ‘Founders’, it has grown to become one of the best rifle associations in India with nearly 270 active members including children, adults, men, women, senior citizens- each of them dedicatedly pouring their love for this sport.

‘Shooting rifles’ has always been associated with courage and responsibility. And NDRA has been proud to keep the prestige.

NDRA situated at the heart of the country has aimed to maintain and continue this legacy by training children and adults for the target shooting, to make them expert in handling and safe-keeping of arms and ammunition. Affiliated with the National rifle association, Delhi via Maharashtra rifle association, Mumbai, NDRA is keeping the pace by training and mentoring national level shooters.

Seeing the dedication and faith of NDRA members, our respected Police Commissioner also extended the legal hand of support to help and cherish this legacy.

Prominent and senior members of NDRA were present to give the whole hearted welcome to the police commissioner- Shri.Chandrakant Deshmukh (General Secretory of NDRA), Raje Shivraj Singh Bhonsle, ShriJagtar Singh Sethi, Shri Dilip Bahare, Shri Udham Singh Yadav, Pranay Tidke, Janoji Raje Bhosle,Rajendra Singh Bhonsle, Harihar Ghatate, Samarjeet Yadav, ArifIqbal, Pavvan Matey,Clifford Leo.

Honorable mention of the President of NDRA Shri. Arundeo Upadhyaya, who however, was not able to attend the event but sent his heartiest wishes.
