On the eve of Barack Obama’s high profile to India with his family on the occasion of India’s Republic Day, in fact he is the chief guest that day. Naxalites of the Gadchiroli area have made their displeasure public.
They have distributed many crudely made, often hand written circulars warning Obama to not step into India. They have also exhorted the people of the area to observe 26th January as a “Bandh” and as a day of protest against the visit of a man they consider the No. one enemy of people all over the world. They blame USA of having expansionist and fascist tendencies that would have them ruling all over the world.
These posters have been put up in public places too and are signed as Bha. Ka. Pa. (Maowadi).
