jammu Nagpur News: A road leading to development has itself been found “injured and divided” and thus exposing the quality of construction and quantum of crores spent on it. The naked and nasty development came to the fore when Jammu Anand, a political activist and President of Nagpur Municipal Corporation Employees’ Association, on Friday (June 13) visited and inspected a recently constructed cement road on Nag Road. Jammu Anand was taken aback when he found large cracks and poor quality of construction of the said cement road. A minute look at the road revealed riddles and small cracks in the entire stretch and the coming monsoon is bound the make condition worse.

The cement road is said to have been constructed at the cost of Rs 3.50 crore per kilometer. The road may last for 30 years but in poor condition. “The poor quality of construction adequately points out massive corruption in the entire scheme. The Municipal Commissioner should not only probe the matter seriously but register criminal offences against the Consultant and contractor in this connection,” Jammu Anand said.
