Nagpur: Bringing immense pride to Nagpur, City President of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha, Shivani Dani made an extensive and insightful presentation at the Ministry of Finance, New Delhi on economic forecasting. She became one among the first in the country to make such a presentation. The presentation was made last week in the presence of Joint Secretary, Financial Markets, Government of India CA Praveen Garg and other senior members of the ministry at North Block, Cabinet Secretariat, New Delhi.
In a bid to keep economic reforms relevant and intuitive, the Finance Ministry has welcomed inputs from experts and industry professionals. Dani, who is a political economic analyst and a finance educator by profession is also the director of Money Bee Private Limited, a Nagpur based company advocating investor education.
She made a presentation at the MoF on Economic Forecasting and using various data like interest rates, market trends etc. She is the youngest investment trainer affiliated to the Bombay Stock Exchange and has several certifications and accolades to her credit. The presentation was well received by the MoF and the inputs were applauded.
Under the Money Bee banner, Dani holds investor education meets annually where small investors get to interact with the big guns of the finance industry. The presentation was made by Dani and her colleague Mr. Ashutosh Wakhare.
“Shivani is the president of BJYM and a close colleague. Her presentation at the Ministry of Finance is a matter of immense pride for the city. Her inputs will not only contribute to the MoF but also bring good name to Nagpur,” said Mayor Pravin Datke.
