Nagpur wakes up to drizzling Tuesday morning, rains resume winter chill

Nagpur: As Nagpur has been missing out on the signature chills of January winter, the city waked up to rainy and misty morning on Tuesday. The temperature which has remained moderate till this time of new year may likely to dip down further and prompt citizens to get some woolens out of their closets. Tuesday morning rains brought down the temperature to some extent as Nagpur recorded the minimum temperature of 17.2 degree which is likely to fall further.

Weather experts suggested that the formation of low pressure area has caused light to medium rains in parts of Vidarbha, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh.

Meanwhile, morning walkers and school goers experienced a pretty cool time as they braved through fog and colder weather to get their way.

The weather however retained some warmth later as the sun rose, though the chills were clearly felt.
Met office predicted that the there may be likely fall of 2 to 3 degree in the minimum temperature during the coming 2-3 days in Nagpur.
